Release biography:
MUTRON, a debut of label “Dekathlon” founded by Zombie Nation, known for Kernkraft 400, has released a new EP on his own label “CODONA”.
The track is based on the concept of a song played in a “hidden sushi restaurant in a time when fish are extinct and sushi is illegal”, and is a minimalistic rhythm with acid bass and Japanese instruments. It is characterized by the occasional pentatonic Koto-like sound and the break with the extremely thick bass that shakes you to your core.
The music video, which represents the world view of this concept, will be released at the same time.
Also included is a spacey techno remix reminiscent of the late 90’s by Lyoma, who was a resident of Takkyu Ishino’s “STERNE” party for 6 years, and a FM remix using the much talked about M8 Tracker by tobokegao, who has performed at the world’s largest chiptune festival, “Square Sounds Tokyo”.
Artist biography:
Ever since he soaked into electronic music in 1997 MUTRON kept himself busy working constantly on productions, to DJ or to organize guerrilla parties with their own mobile sound systems in Japan from the southern beaches to the northern mountains.
MUTRON became one of tokyo’s busiest artists and new talents, known already by his first releases “Hsart ep” on Zombie Nations Label DEKATHLON(DE), Pocketgames and Takkyu Ishinos label PLATIK records(sony JP). Recently he has a residency DJ performance on the party “Tokyo Decadance” and “Mitte” in Tokyo, and finally launched his own digi-label “CODONA” in 2008.
And under the name W2X, he has created Chiptune and participated in Square Enix’s official Final Fantasy 8bit arrangement compilation and so on.

Remixers Artist Biography:
Lyoma
A mediator between two worlds. Lyoma clearly represents the Tokyo underground techno scene. At the same time, having lived in Berlin from 1998 to 2007, he also has a strong inclination to the German techno scene. In 1999, while he was still living in Berlin, Lyoma started the techno party “abend” based in Tokyo, and in 2011 he founded the related “abend kollektiv” label. His first track was featured on the PLATIK label’s compilation album “Gathering Traxx Vol.1” in 2007, and since then his other works have been released by labels such as BASS WORKS RECORDINGS, SNORK ENTERPRISES and so on. He was also a resident DJ at the party “STERNE” at Shibuya WOMB for 6 years since 2012, and currently holds “BOOGIE” and “abend” at various venues in Tokyo.

Tobokegao
In the summer of 2014, he started composing music with “Gameboy” as a way to express music, which he arrived at after his band activities.
He released a number of songs using LSDj, a composition software for chiptune artists, and became well known.
In 2016, he released his first album “Picnic” from Cheapbeats.
In 2017, he performed at “Square Sounds Tokyo 2017”, one of the world’s largest chiptune festivals, because of his achievements so far.
In 2020, he provided the BGM for Caravan Boomer, a new MSX2 game with a splendid composition team.
In 2021, he also provided the background music for the talk show of Lily lemonade Mone (@__LilyMone), a Vsinger who jumped out of the game world by a bug and belongs to 447 Records (@447Records).
Currently, in addition to producing his own music, he runs his own label, TBKgao, which focuses on chiptune music.
